R.R. Donnelley cuts more jobs, warns of shortfall

New York--Printing company R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. announced it has cut an additional 250 jobs, bringing total layoffs this year to 1,700, or 5% of its workforce. Donnelly said the latest round of cuts would result in $10 million in savings in the second half of the year. The company also lowered its earnings projection to between $1.60 and $1.75 per share for the year, from an earlier forecast of between $1.95 and $2.10 per share.
