Report: Dot-com CEOs continue to descend

New York--Departures by CEOs topped 100 for the seventh consecutive month, with dot-com CEOs leading the pack, according to the latest report from international executive search firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas Inc. Last month, 119 CEOs departed their jobs, a 37% increase from February 2000, when 87 CEO changes were recorded. The 24 dot-com CEO departures from the Web represented 20% of the monthly total. Since August, dot-com CEOs have accounted for 22% of the 812 CEO exits.
