Reuters rolls out ad-supported India Web and mobile sites

New York—Reuters on Monday announced the debut of Reuters India (, an ad-supported English language Web site and accompanying mobile platform.

Both the Reuters India Web and mobile sites feature breaking local Indian and international news as well as Reuters’ business and financial information from across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Reuters India features video channels from Reuters and Times NOW, a 24-hour English news channel broadcast only in South Asia.

ShareKhan, one of India’s top brokerage houses, is the site’s initial advertiser.
