RMG, announce out-of-home partnership

New York—RMG Networks (formerly known as Danoo) and The New York Times announced Monday the launch of Today aimed at the out-of-home market. Today is displayed on video screens in more than 800 business district cafes and restaurants in the New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco markets. After seeing the stories displayed on the screens, viewers can access on their mobile devices to receive a direct link to the Today mobile site, which features the full articles displayed on the screens.

“RMG’s strategy is to offer best-in-class video entertainment and information to engage high-value audiences when they are on the go. This agreement represents a game-changing offering within both the place-based media sector and the broader ad industry,” Garry McGuire, CEO of RMG Networks, said in a statement.

Separately, The New York Times announced Monday the launch of its international news supplement in Dnevni Avaz in Bosnia and La Prensa Gráfica in El Salvador.
