Rumor real for NQL

Santa Ana, Calif.--B-to-b software infrastructure company NQL Inc. said Monday that a Switzerland-based public relations agency plans to use NQL technology to test the popularity of rumors on the Internet. NQL has developed ``RumorBot'' for Agence Virtuelle SA, which will use the technology this month to track how often and where a specific, agency-created rumor appears about an undisclosed client. RumorBot uses 44 different Web techniques to search Web pages and databases for key words. NQL plans to market the RumorBot software to corporate communications offices.
