Sales-force application lands Nortel support

Bedford, Mass.--Incentive Systems Inc., which uses the Internet to conduct corporate sales contests, said Monday that it has reached an agreement with Nortel Networks Corp. to integrate its contests in Nortel's Clarify customer relationship management applications. The move is significant because it means that the Web-based reporting Incentive does on sales contests can be accessed through Clarify systems, making it possible for larger companies to run sales incentive programs through its site. For Nortel, the deal means Clarify customers can run sales contests for any of their sales operations, including call centers and Web customer support.
