Salesforce debuts new Chatter mobile apps

San Francisco— Inc. has added three new app features to its Chatter Mobile social collaboration tool for marketing and sales teams. The new version of Chatter Mobile includes an Edit Any Record feature, enabling users to make changes in account and prospect data, as well as customer cases and marketing campaigns. The new View Dashboards app allows users to prioritize tasks in real time and stay current on quota status, account activity and campaign milestones, the company said in a statement. Custom Actions allows companies to add their own features based on what kind of business they are or what they need done. Salesforce’s Chatter Mobile is available now for all Apple mobile devices and will be available on smartphones running the Android OS during the fourth quarter, the company said.
