Search Marketing Automation Will Compete with Agencies

Shar VanBoskirk, VP-principal analyst at Forrester Research, argues that advances in search marketing automation technologies, as well as lower costs, will provide competition to ad agencies in the future. She points to technology company Altruik, which she says charges a $7,500 installation fee plus a $500 to $2,000 monthly fee to guarantee rankings. “Pretty nice price compared to $150,000-200,000/site pricetag standard for most agencies,” VanBoskirk writes this week in her blog.
