New York—Rick Segal, president worldwide-chief practice officer at gyro, New York, announced that he will join Bethlehem College & Seminary, Minneapolis, as VP-advancement and distinguished lecturer of commerce and vocation. In this role, Segal will be responsible for donor relations and institutional communications, as well as teaching and writing. He will assume his post early next year. Segal, who founded HSR Business to Business in Cincinnati in 1981 and merged the agency with gyro International, London, in 2009, will take on the new role of president emeritus at gyro. In this position, he will counsel gyro clients and agency leaders. gyro has not yet named a successor to Segal. “This agency and the global ideas shop that it has become has been my life's work to now, and a joy and adventure beyond my wildest imagination,” Segal said in a statement. “As I answer another calling, I'm convinced gyro's best days are yet ahead. The mission of creating humanly relevant ideas, especially in b-to-b, has only just begun.”
