Silverpop rolls out mobile marketing automation tool

Atlanta—Digital marketing company Silverpop Systems has launched Mobile Connector, applying the company's marketing automation services to better track customer behaviors on mobile devices. Silverpop's Mobile Connector helps coordinate the accumulation of customer data and behaviors across mobile platforms. The new service integrates such behaviors as installing or opening an app, completing or abandoning a task, adding profile data or reaching a certain level in a game, Silverpop said in a statement. The service also tracks customer loyalty by creating personalized in-app rewards, tracks anonymous and known visitors' app behavior for segmentation and targeting, automates follow-up via email or SMS text, and creates contact scoring, the company said.
