SmartReply acquires mSnap

New York—SmartReply, a mobile marketing company, announced Monday that it has acquired mSnap, a U.S.-based SMS mobile advertising network.

With the deal, SmartReply now controls an SMS ad network that includes 1,150 radio, print and cable broadcast media partners that can reach more than 200 million mobile users per week.

“We are now able to bring to advertisers an immediately scalable mobile advertising network with the best technical platform, reinforced by industry expertise and an incredible team,” Eric Holmen, president of SmartReply, said in a statement.

Jordan, Edmiston Group represented mSnap in the transaction. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
