SMB market grows, all economic indicators up

New York—Seventy percent of small and midsize businesses surveyed predicted revenue growth this year, according to a study released Tuesday by the City Business Journals Network.

The trade publisher conducted the study in partnership with Russell Marketing Research and ReedHaldyMcIntosh Associates. The survey found all major economic indicators are showing growth for the first time since 1999. In addition to revenue, indicators measured were projected spending, number of companies, personal income and overall business optimism.
