One Source rolls out information product for SMB market

Concord, Mass.—OneSource Information Services, a Donnelley Group company of infoUSA, announced it has released a new business information product for small and midsize businesses.

OneSource Express, which can be used to access company profiles, news and executive contact data, will compete with D&B’s Hoover’s, an online information provider. "Hoover’s has had this market all to themselves," said Ed Hutchinson, director of strategic products at OneSource. "We think there will now be a choice because of our price point." The product sells for $5,500 for up to five users, which Hutchinson said is competitive with Hoover’s price point.

It contains data on more than 500,000 companies and more than 1.3 million executive contacts, as well as a news archive that goes back one year.

Marketing of the product started Monday with keyword buys on search engines, online and print ads, and direct mail and e-mail campaigns, as well as a dedicated Web site,
