Southwest Airlines upgrades SWABIZ booking service

Dallas--Southwest Airlines Monday unveiled new capabilities of its online corporate travel booking service, SWABIZ. SWABIZ is designed to provide tracking and administrative tools for corporate travel managers. New features include “virtual credit cards,” which allow business travelers booking their own trips to select a form of payment from their pre-entered company credit cards; “traveler accounts,” which enable SWABIZ members to set up personal information and travel preferences by using individual Rapid Rewards frequent flyer membership numbers; and real-time flight status, which can be obtained either online or via text messaging. Southwest announced the new capabilities at the National Business Travel Association convention.
