Survey shows 90% of marketers deem better data integration 'essential'

Los Angeles—A new report from direct marketing agency Kern Organization, Los Angeles, found that 90% of marketers believe better integration of off- and online data collection with analytics is essential to their marketing efforts. Kern's “2011 Mid-Year Marketing Trend Study” was based on an online survey of 376 marketing executives conducted in July. The study also found that 84% of execs say aligning sales and marketing is important, while 48% of marketers are now using some form of marketing automation software.
