System builders group reports big boost in membership

Atlanta--The Association of System Builders and Integrators (called NASBA), a trade organization representing the ``white-box computer industry,’’ (consultants, manufacturers and distributors), said its membership grew 20% to 7,800 members in the last six months of 2001. Robert Danese, NASBA executive director, said the numbers suggest the professional services sector is resilient ``despite the economy.’’ Accessed via, the association has been using a portal and online community strategy to makes itself useful to its members.
