AT&T survey finds 88% of marketers will increase mobile programs next year

Dallas—A new study by AT&T found that 88% of marketers plan to increase their mobile marketing programs next year.

The report, conducted in September, was based on an online survey of 501 marketers at U.S.-based companies with more than 1,000 employees.

The top mobile programs next year will be mobile apps (cited by 43% of respondents); followed by mobile barcodes (41%); banner ads on mobile devices (40%); mobile websites (35%); and SMS messages (34%).

Also, 66% of respondents agreed that mobile barcodes will drive innovation in mobile marketing next year.
