Newton, Mass.—Technology media company TechTarget announced Monday that it has acquired ebizQ.net, a Web site for business and information technology decision-makers focused on business process management and service-oriented architecture.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
ebizQ.net's content includes blogs, podcasts, webinars, white papers and virtual events covering BPM and SOA. TechTarget said the online community has more than 100,000 members.
Les Yeamans, founder of ebizQ.net, is joining TechTarget.
“The addition of ebizQ.net to the TechTarget network of technology Web sites will complement the company's existing Web properties, such as SearchSOA.com, providing a one-stop shop for IT and line-of-business professionals researching new products and technologies around these disciplines. SOA and BPM vendors competing in these markets will for the first time have access to both the IT and the LOB decision-makers and influencers from a single source,” Brian McGovern, publisher of TechTarget's application development media, said in a statement.
The acquisition of ebizQ.net follows TechTarget's launch last week of SearchHealthIT.com, a Web site and online social community that expanded the company's coverage into the health care sector.
