Needham, Mass.—IT media company TechTarget reported a 46% increase in revenue last year and a 168% increase in EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization). TechTarget, which is gearing up for an initial public offering this year, said all its media vehicles for IT professionals—online, print and events—were up more than 40% last year. The addition of more than 600 new advertisers fueled the growth, according to TechTarget. In 2005, the company expanded its media offerings across the board. For instance, it delivered more than 600 Webcasts to enterprise IT professionals and expanded its targeted online research libraries to include 4,200 white papers. The company also grew its registered member database to more than 3 million IT professionals.
