Time Inc. announces new sales organization for business, finance titles

New York—Time Inc. Thursday announced a new sales organization for the unit that includes its business and finance titles.

The group, which includes Fortune, Fortune Small Business, Money and, has changed its name from Time Inc. Business and Finance Network to the Fortune|Money Group.

The announcement, which was made by Fortune|Money Group President Vivek Shah, comes a week after Time Inc. said it was shuttering Business 2.0.

As part of the reorganization, a new executive position will be created with responsibility for all print and digital advertising revenue across the Fortune|Money Group. A search is under way to fill the role.

Hugh Wiley and Brett Wilson have been named publishers of Fortune and Money, respectively, as part of the reorganization. Previously, the publishing roles for both titles were handled on a regional basis by Mike Dukmejian and Mike Federle. Dukmejian is leaving the company, while Federle has agreed to stay on through the end of the year as a senior adviser to Shah.

Lisa Bentley, an associate group publisher on the west coast who handled sales duties for Business 2.0, is leaving Time Inc.

Shah also announced that Alan Ives has joined Time Inc. as senior VP-sales at Ives, who will be responsible for all digital advertising revenue, was previously VP at ABC digital media sales.
