Twitter and Nielsen launch brand survey tool

San Francisco—Twitter has partnered with Nielsen on a new service that enables businesses to create surveys directly within Twitter. According to Twitter, surveys will appear to users like Twitter's Promoted Tweets, within the user's timeline on both mobile devices and the desktop. Users will receive a tweet inviting them to complete a survey about a brand or campaign, which will be analyzed by Nielsen to further inform advertiser strategies. Twitter is working with an initial set of advertisers, with plans for a bigger rollout next year.
