UBM relaunches BYTE

San Francisco—UBM TechWeb has relaunched legacy brand BYTE, which originally appeared in 1975. The relaunch was initially announced late last year. The new, focused on how consumer technologies and applications are impacting the IT and business world, will provide product tear-downs, how-to's, tips and product reviews. "BYTE provides the ideal environment to reach 'the few that buy for the many' at global enterprises, and we're excited to have the likes of Dell, Avaya, APC and Core Security Technologies participating as launch sponsors," said Martha Schwartz, exec VP-sales for the InformationWeek Business Technology Network, in a statement.
