San Francisco—UBM Tech, which includes the TechWeb and Channel, Electronics and Game Development and Black Hat groups, has announced a series of executive changes. All of the executive changes are for newly created job titles. David Berlind, who was previously chief content officer of UBM TechWeb, has been tapped as chief content officer for UBM Tech's online business. David Michael, formerly CIO of TechWeb group, has been named CIO of UBM Tech, while Scott Vaughan, previously CMO of TechWeb, has been tapped as CMO for UBM Tech. Meanwhile, Ed Grossman has been promoted to president of TechWeb Media, from exec VP of the InformationWeek Business Technology Network. Lenny Heymann, previously exec VP of TechWeb events, has been tapped exec VP of UBM Tech's international expansion strategy. Marco Pardi has been promoted to president of TechWeb events, from exec VP of TechWeb event sales. Martha Schwartz has also been promoted to chief sales officer for TechWeb Media, from exec VP of InformationWeek.
