Unica adds social metrics tools to online solutions

Waltham, Mass.—Marketing management software company Unica Corp. has added social media analytics, Web personalization and social sharing tools to its online marketing solutions.

The new Social Media Analytics, added to Unica NetInsight, enables marketers to report on social media metrics down to the individual influencer and segment customers based on social interactions. Insights about social interactions can be integrated within Unica’s interactive marketing solutions to enable such actions as automated triggers, according to the company.

New Web personalization and social sharing tools allow targeted customers to post e-mail messages to their Facebook pages, Twitter or other social sites, Unica said.
