BtoB unveils expansion plans

New York—The New York Times Co.'s announced plans to expand its content this year. has added a Spanish-language channel (called About en Espanol), plans to grow its topic sites from about 800 to 1,000 and said it will double its video content this year.

Cella Irvine, president-CEO, of About Group, said about 100 of the new topic sites will be Spanish-language sites. She said that also plans to continue the expansion of its b-to-b sites called the Industry and Trade Channel. currently has about 50 b-to-b sites, which include sites aimed at the construction, security and mining industries. Among the topics the Industry and Trade Channel plans to launch this year are antiquities, games industry machinery, medical marijuana dispensary and medical supplies.
