UPS signs sponsorship deal with National Geographic

Louisville, Ky.—United Parcel Service will feature its new “We Love Logistics” ad campaign on the National Geographic Channel’s upcoming seven-part “Great Migrations” miniseries.

UPS said sponsoring the series about animal migratory habits will underscore its logistical ability to ship around the world. UPS will run four 30-second spots during the show’s premiere Nov. 7, featuring footage of albatross, ants, crabs and jellyfish all on the move.

The UPS spots are co-branded with National Geographic, which produced them together with UPS’ agency, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, New York. The “We Love Logistics” campaign, launched last month with TV spots, print and digital ads in the U.S., China, Mexico and the U.K., replaces the company’s “What Can Brown Do for You” program.
