Los Angeles—Online marketing company ValueClick has introduced technology that allows marketers to adjust online ad creative and content on the fly as well as target messages according to different audience criteria. ActiveAds delivers tailored messages without marketers managing multiple creative units, according to the company, with content adjusted automatically to display the most relevant text and images based on anonymous information provided by a client or ValueClick Media, the company’s performance ad unit. The product uses “retargeting data,” information about sites users visited after leaving e-commerce sites, to customize messages. It is also able to geo-target ads based on the type of site a user is on.
