New version of Google Analytics unveiled

Mountain View, Calif.—Google announced the release of a new version of Google Analytics, its enterprise-class Web analytics product.

The product has undergone a redesign and added features including e-mail reporting, customizable dashboards, improved map displays and plain language descriptions to make important information more accessible.

Google said that in the new version of the product data are concentrated into combinations of reports that allow users to make informed decisions about site management and Google AdWords campaigns by tracking the effectiveness of online marketing initiatives such as display campaigns or cost-per-click programs.
