Phoenix—Virgo Publishing on Oct. 1 will launch AgileBizTech, a business technology website aimed at executives at large and midsize enterprises who evaluate major technology purchases. Virgo CEO John Siefert said in an interview that AgileBizTech will promote four concepts—operational fluidity, customer intuition, risk acceptance and cultural willingness—as the pillars of agile decision making. Siefert said the site will be focused on video, in both news and in-depth documentary formats. It will also offer analyst reports, infographics, and live and on-demand educational events. Activate, a new publishing and marketing services organization founded last month by several former UBM Tech executives, will provide editorial and sales teams for AgileBizTech in partnership with Virgo. AgileBizTech will be the 20th brand in the Virgo portfolio of b-to-b magazines and websites, trade shows and regional conferences, and training and accreditation programs in such industries as healthcare, natural products, telecommunications and self-storage.
