Visa launches Web site for small businesses

San Francisco—Visa announced the launch of, a Web site for small businesses.

The site features advice from small-business experts, online video case studies profiling small-business owners, a contest for small businesses, articles and tips.

Visa also announced that small-business spending on Visa business cards in the U.S. topped $100 billion over the past year.

According to Visa’s Commercial Consumption Expenditure Index, small-business spending is expected to reach $4.9 trillion this year, up 4.3% over 2005.
