Visa Inc. names CMO

San Francisco—Visa Inc. has named Antonio Lucio as its CMO, with global marketing responsibilities, according to a Visa spokesperson.

Lucio was previously chief innovation and wellness officer at PepsiCo.

In July, Visa USA announced the retirement of Susanne Lyons, previous CMO in charge of Visa’s U.S. marketing efforts.

Visa is currently in the midst of a global media review for its estimated $600 million account. It is also planning an initial public offering that could raise as much as $10 billion.
