Top achievements of 2007: In September, Shah implemented a reorganization of the Fortune|Money Group. Hugh Wiley was named publisher of Fortune, and Brett Wilson became publisher of Money. The positions had been eliminated in April 2006 when the sales forces were combined—as they still are at the account executive level. “The new ad sales and marketing organization, including the reinstatement of publishers at Fortune and Money magazines, is paying off in the marketplace,” Shah said.
Top priorities for 2008: Shah’s goals include “leveraging our breadth of magazine, digital and live-event assets for our advertisers; underscoring the value of branded content and quality audiences; and dominating the Internet-delivered business video market.”
