Vodafone dials up Ferrari sponsorship

Monaco--Growing b-to-b mobile telephone powerhouse Vodafone Group plc figures it sells a lot of service for use in automobiles, so why not sponsor one of the fastest? The Newbury, England-based company has announced a three-year sponsorship deal with the Ferrari Formula One Team to include its logo on cars and drivers. Vodafone's corporate strategy is to establish itself as a leading b-to-b brand worldwide, which in turn should help sell its communications products to executives looking for ways to never be out of range of their telephone.
