Website redesign a top priority for manufacturers and distributors

New York—Four of five product and custom manufacturers and distributors say they plan to update or overhaul their websites this year, according to “The Industrial Marketer” quarterly survey released by Thomas Industrial Network. Forty-one percent of respondents said their biggest challenge is “marketing to qualified prospects in a niche market.” Additionally, respondents said five of their top six marketing strategies are now digital: email marketing, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, vertical search and website updates. The online survey, conducted in January, drew 2,500 respondents.
