Webtrends launches latest version of Web analytics solution

Portland, Ore.—Web analytics company Webtrends has updated its on-demand business intelligence solution, with an improved interface, social reputation measurement and new reporting system.

Webtrends Analytics 9 provides cross-channel analysis of how other marketing campaigns are influencing a Web site, with RSS feeds of company news, sales and other business data overlaid on top of Web metrics. Overlays from Webtrends Social Measurement, for example, provide insight into the relationships between Web site traffic and activity on enthusiast blogs, video channels and other interactive media, the company said.

The product's Story View function automatically converts data and metrics into non-technical narratives. The text can be downloaded and shared in standard electronic-slideshow or word-processing formats, the company said.
