Xerox, others make announcements at DMA conference

San Francisco--Several companies made announcements at the Direct Marketing Association's annual conference in San Francisco this week.

Xerox Corp. announced two partnerships. The first, with customer relationship management provider Siebel Systems Inc., is a commitment to become a “Siebel Alliance Platform Partner.” The partnership will enable Xerox to promote custom marketing programs that are integrated with Siebel’s software. The other partnership Xerox announced is with XMPie, a digital printing software technologist, to launch a one-to-one marketing service using XMPie’s technology and Xerox’s digital color technology.

Fair, Isaac and Co. Inc. launched its Business Science software suite on the heels of the company's recent merger with HNC Software Inc. The new software, characterized as “decision management technology,” is intended to automate business decision making.

NetPerceptions announced its enhanced NetP 7.1 analytics software. Database marketer AccuData America launched a list-management division for compiled lists. Melissa Data released ListWare 4.0, a data-formatting software program that can be downloaded for free; features include address verification, duplicate check and other update options.
