Yield, Marchex link search to inbound phone sales

San Mateo, Calif.—Online marketing technology company Yield Software has integrated its flagship marketing suite with inbound telephone tracking solutions from small-business marketing company Marchex Inc.

The addition of Marchex’s Call Analytics to the Yield Web Marketing Suite will enable customers to track and optimize sales and conversions from search engine pay-per-click ads that result in a telephone call to complete a sale, instead of an online conversion, according to Yield.

The combined solution closes a loop for marketers who have had trouble tracking the effectiveness of paid-search campaigns that result in offline sales, the company said.
