New York--Troubled b-to-b publisher Ziff Davis Media Inc. plans to fold Interactive Week into eWeek and shutter Smart Partner, its consulting industry-geared technology magazine. The moves will result in 75 job losses at the company, which has been hurt by the slumping tech ad market.Interactive Week Editor Rob Fixmer, who last year left The New York Times to join the magazine, will continue on at Ziff Davis and help bring Interactive Week content to eWeek. The moves underscore the reversal of fortune of Ziff Davis in general and Interactive Week in particular. Ziff Davis has had a tough year. It cut 25 jobs in July, 19 of them at Interactive Week and eWeek, and shut down, its streaming video operation, and FamilyPC magazine.Ziff Davis is also involved in a lawsuit with former Chairman-CEO Jim Dunning, whom was let go in August. In the quarter ended June 30, Ziff Davis posted a net loss of $49.3 million on revenue of $85.1 million.
