Ziff-Davis to sell market intelligence unit to Harte-Hanks

New York--Ziff-Davis has signed a definitive agreement to sell its ZD Market Intelligence unit to Harte-Hanks, San Antonio, for $101 million in cash at closing plus $5 million in assumed deferred revenue obligations. The sale is expected to be completed within 45 days. Ziff-Davis announced its intentions to sell its market intelligence unit earlier this year. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co., New York, advised Ziff-Davis and its parent, Tokyo-based Softbank Corp., on the sell.
