BBH Rebrands Monterosa, CP&B Promotes Jones to CCO and More
Bartle Bogle Hegarty has brought Monterosa -- the Swedish mobile agency it acquired in December 2012 -- under the BBH banner to create BBH Stockholm. Despite the name change, BBH Stockholm will continue to focus on mobile, using its technical and design know-how to make digital products for the agency, and in partnership with clients. The agency's clients include Adidas, Volvo and Travelex. Stockholm is the seventh BBH office, following London, Singapore, New York, Shanghai, Mumbai and L.A. Pelle Sjoenell, BBH Worldwide chief creative officer, said in a statement, "For us as a global brand, to add the absolute spearhead of technology and Swedish tech talent to the rest of the BBH family and its clients, is amazing. But also to help bring the strategic and creative muscle from the BBH world to Sweden is equally exciting."
CP&B has promoted Kevin Jones to chief creative officer, CP&B L.A. Jones will lead work created for PayPal, video game franchise NBA 2K and Charles Schwab, and will also head up creative on global work for Infiniti, which is in the process of moving from CP&B Boulder. Jones has been executive creative director at CP&B L.A. since 2014. Prior to that he was at Wieden & Kennedy. His work includes Chrysler's Eminem Super Bowl spot and Procter & Gamble's Olympic spot "Best Job," both of which won Emmys. He was also nominated for an Emmy for his Chrysler spot starring Clint Eastwood.
Argonaut has hired creative team Shane Fleming and Anders Gustafsson to co-lead the agency's MetLife account. The move reunites them with Chief Creative Officers Rick Condos and Hunter Hindman, with whom they worked previously at Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Fleming was most recently at Facebook's in-house creative agency, where his work included the social network's latest "Friends" campaign. Prior to Facebook, he worked for Goodby Silverstein & Partners, R/GA and Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners. Gustafsson joins from his role as creative director at TBWA/Media Arts Lab, where he led creative for the latest Apple TV campaign. He has held positions with CP&B and Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
Sid Lee hired Ethan Schmidt and Felipe Ferreira as creative directors in the Canadian agency's New York office, whose clients include Apple, Facebook, Stella Artois and more. The creative duo join from R/GA, where they were associate creative directors. Schmidt joined R/GA in January 2014, and has been a senior copywriter at Droga5 and Saatchi & Saatchi. Mr. Ferreira spent the last three years at R/GA, and before that was creative director at BBDO Proximity Worldwide in China, working on Volkswagen and HP.
