Digital agency AvatarLabs has hired Anette
Hughes as creative director. She comes to AvatarLabs after
previously serving as vice president of interactive at The Cimarron
Group and creative director at Crew where she worked on a variety
of theatrical campaigns including several for the Harry Potter
franchise, Avatar, Wall-E, and more. Hughes also served as creative
director at Warner Bros. Online for eight years. AvatarLabs is best
known for developing digital campaigns for films including Fox's
Avatar, Warner Bros.' The Dark Knight, several of
the films in the Harry Potter franchise, Lionsgate's
The Hunger Games, Disney's The
Avengers and multiple films in the Pirates of the
Caribbean franchise. Its work has included developing
websites, online advertising, social and viral marketing, mobile
apps, games, motion graphics, digital marketing strategy and
content production.

Independent creative agency David&Goliath has appointed
Chris Robertson to the role of digital creative
director. He will work across digital clients including Kia, California
Lottery and Universal Studios Hollywood, reporting to Colin
Jeffery, executive creative director at the California agency. Most
recently, Robertson was based in Dubai working for JWT as creative director. He has also
worked at agencies such as Arnold, McKinney and Deutsch, creating
work for brands like for Audi, ESPN, McDonalds, Kraft, and HBSC.

Chavez as art director. Chavez worked most recently as art
director with Wexley School for Girls, most notably on Rainier
Beer's "Restore the R" campaign. He studied art direction at
Atlanta's The Creative Circus before joining Wexley.
