Dillow Joins Camp & King, McCann Hires Holme and More
San Francisco ad agency Camp & King has hired Jesse Dillow as a creative director working on accounts including Dish Network's Sling TV, Del Taco, the Hershey Company's Scharffen Berger and Google. Dillow has ten years of web, film and branded content experience. He was previously associate creative director at Leo Burnett, where his 2014 #EsuranceSave30 effort received 5.4 million tweets after the hashtag appeared in a TV spot right after the game. He has also worked for agencies including Cole & Weber, Riney and Jung von Matt, Hamburg.
McCann Detroit has hired Gary Holme as SVP, creative director on Aldi. Most recently freelancing in California, Holme was previously partner, owner and chief creative officer for Dorsey/Holme Experience in Toronto, and has also worked for agencies such as Sapient Nitro and Publicis in Canada. He has created work for clients including Molson Coors Brewing Company, Pizza Hut, Hudson's Bay Company, Walmart Canada, Kia Canada, Target and Harley-Davidson.
Australian agency BMF has promoted Jim Curtis and Ryan Fitzgerald, who joined as a creative duo in January 2014, to associate creative directors. The two drove the creative behind retaining the Meat & Livestock Australia account and winning the Sportsbet business. Prior to joining BMF, both Curtis and Fitzgerald spent time at DDB Sydney, where they worked on accounts including Volkswagen, McDonald's and Schweppes. They will report to executive creative director Cam Blackley.
Havas Lynx, the health-focused agency formed from the agencies previously known as Euro RSCG Life 4D and Creative Lynx, has hired Tom Richards as chief creative officer. His previous experience includes jobs include creative director at BJL, creative partner at TBWA Manchester and group head at Cheetham Bell JXT.
