The Mill has appointed Heather Fullerton as managing director of its New York office. Fullerton was a partner at StrawberryFrog in Amsterdam, moving to the US in 2003 to launch and run the New York office of StrawberryFrog. She then became executive vice president and group managing director at McCann Erickson. In the past two years, she has also worked on innovation and brand development projects for agencies such as Anomaly, Circus Maximus and Special Forces. She replaces Alistair Thompson, who moved into a global business development role within the group last year, supporting the launch of The Mill's studio in Chicago and other initiatives.
Mill NY Appoints Fullerton, Rattling Stick Signs Nichols And More
Rattling Stick has signed director Jeff Nichols to its roster for the U.S. market. Nichols' latest film, Mud, starring Matthew McConaughey, was released by Lionsgate/Roadside in spring 2013. Nichols recently received the Robert Altman Award for the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards, and is currently nominated for Best Director for the movie. His previous film, dramatic thriller Take Shelter premiered at Sundance in 2011and won awards including the Critics Week Grand Prize and the SACD Award for Best Feature at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Nichols is preparing to shoot his fourth feature film this spring.
Revolver Films has added directorial duo Leblanc + Cudmore to its roster for international representation. Comprising director Scott Cudmore and cinematographer Michael Leblanc, the duo has created commercials and PSAs for clients such as VISA, Mitsubishi, and AMI as well as music videos for artists such as F***ed Up, METZ, Bahamas and Stephen Malkmus.
Pysop has appointed Cally Morton as executive producer based at its L.A. office. Morton got her start in 2005 working for Jerry Weintraub at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, CA. Over the next few years, she went on to work for New Line Cinema, CBS and E! Entertainment. Making the move to New York City in 2007, Morton shifted into short form at MJZ and Radical. She has worked with clients such as Coke, Verizon, Audi, Pepsi, Sony, LG, Absolut, AT&T, Apple and Honda.
East Pleasant has signed comedic directing colllective Jean to its roster. The group got their start as creatives in advertising and as writer/directors at MTV. Their work includes promos for MTV, Conan University and Cougar Town as well as commercials, branded content, music videos and virals.
Click 3X has added to its editorial and production teams, hiring Mark Robin (left) as senior editor and Jason Moore (below) as associate producer. Robin was previously a freelance editor at companies including Publicis, Grey, Ohio Edit and Chinagraph, and produced spots for American Express, L'Oreal and Hugo Boss. Robin has also worked in broadcast for companies like @radical.media. Moore created, wrote, directed and produced That Dog Will Hunt, the pilot episode for a dog hunting competition show, and What's Up With Your Kid? an interactive web series designed to give parenting advice to fathers.
Berlin and Hamburg-based Cobblestone Film Produktion is to represent Station Film's roster of directors in Germany and Switzerland. Cobblestone was founded in 1992 by MD and EP Pieter Lony (left), and has worked with Station previously on several commercials via Grabarz & Partner and vccp, directed by Station's Justin Reardon.
