Roald van Wyk is joining Draftfcb New York as svp, group creative director. In his new role, van Wyk will lead multimedia creative efforts across several of the agency's key accounts, including ONDCP and Fisher-Price. He joins from Publicis Modem, where he was vice President, creative director working on accounts including General Mills and Cartier, and has also worked at TBWA, Saatchi & Saatchi, JWT, and R/GA. Van Wyk represents one of the first significant new hires by Draftfcb New York chief creative officer Darren Moran, who joined the agency from Young & Rubicam in October 2010.

The Sweet Shop has added the director Mario Zozin to its roster. German-born Zozin has been a multiple award winner at Cannes, gaining silver in 2008 for his Adidas - Pure Performance spot, andin 2009 winning the Cannes Young Director Award for his short Oleg - Life of a Weightlifter. Last year he picked up two Gold Lions for a Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra commercial.

Passion Pictures has launched a live action commercials division, Passion Raw, headed up by executive producer Dan Scott-Croxford, formerly with Stink. Passion RAW will sit alongside Passion's live action documentary and animation departments and be based in the company's London offices.

Zula Alpha Kilo has hired Cory Pelletier from Taxi as director of innovation. At Taxi, Pelletier was director of digital strategy and creative media, handling all of the network's social media projects in both Canada and the US. Prior to Taxi, Pelletier worked at Starcom MediaVest, Excelerator/Mindshare and OMD. At Toronto-based Zulu, he will be reunited with worked with agency founder Zak Mroueh, who was formerly chief creative officer at Taxi.
