Arnold Worldwide has hired Tim Allen as vice president, creative director. He joins from R/GA, where he was creative director on the Nike account and closely involved with the redesign of Nike+, winning awards including a Cannes Cyber Lion, D&AD, International ANDY Awards and OneShow. He has also previously worked at software company Adobe and on brands including MasterCard, Macromedia and IBM. At Arnold, Allen will work across all client accounts and will report to chief creative officer Pete Favat.

Saville Productions has signed British director Ben Hume-Paton for US representation. Hume-Paton has directed commercials for brands including Nike, Next and Biore, as well as music videos and TV episodes including on the BBC's Top Gear. He has also been creatively involved with Honda, supplying their car launch films for the last three years.

Don Lupo has joined Interpublic-owned LA agency Dailey as senior vice president, director of digital production. Lupo joins the agency from Deutsch LA, where he led a team of producers and developers on accounts including Volkswagen, PlayStation and HTC. He has also previously worked at DDB, on websites, alternate reality games and rich media campaigns for clients such as Activision, Epson, Schiff Nutrition and Wells Fargo. He has also worked at Real Pie Media in Los Angeles, Fox Mobile Entertainment, and Saatchi & Saatchi/ Conill Advertising.
