Thais Lyro has joined DOJO San Francisco as Director of User Experience, from the same role at Pereira O'Dell. Lyro is a 12-year vet in information architecture and user experience and has worked both in Brazil and the States, at companies like Organic, AgenciaClick and Yahoo! Her client creds include Coca-Cola, Bank of America, Miller Lite, Lego and Muscle Milk.

Former TBWA/Chiat/Day Media Arts Lab ACD Alicia Dotter has joined Team One as a creative director. She will be working on Ritz-Carlton, Lexus and other hotel projects. At TBWA, Dotter worked on campaigns like Mac vs. PC, iPhone "There's an app for that," and numerous iPod ads. Previous agency haunts include Mad Dogs and Englishmen, The Sloan Group, Tribal DDB and Deutsch.

New York-based QuietMan returns to the scene, rebranding back to its former moniker from Semerad. The company continues to be led by Johnnie Semerad, joined by EP Carey Gattyan and Managing Director Seth Tabor. The studio will offer both high end design and CG/effects, along with print, Web and TV production.

Tool has signed Jeff Levine to the newly created position of interactive design director. Levine has been a collaborator with Tool's directors, on projects for Puma out of Droga5, Windows Mobile 7 out of CP+ B and other efforts for adidas, Dodge Ram, Mountain Dew and others. He previously ran interactive studio Fake-Up from 2006-2010, where he created work like Amtrak Parks in Your Backyard. Before Fake-Up, Levine freelanced for various studios and agencies.
