Miguel Bemfica is joining McCann Erickson as global creative director for Nestle. Bemfica, who will report to Linus Karlsson, McCann chairman and chief creative officer in London and New York, joins from JWT Madrid, where he he has been chief creative officer since 2008. Under his stewardship, JWT Madrid was the second most awarded Spanish agency at Cannes this year, winning the only Cyber Lion of the country. He has worked at Propeg, Colucci and Almap BBDO in Sao Paulo, and also as a creative director at DM9 DDB, on clients including Audi, Volkswagen, Telefonica/Movistar, Honda, Corona, J & J, Kraft, Whirlpool, and Unicef. He is also the founder of Brazilian advertising school

Eric King is joining Leo Burnett in Chicago as a creative director. He joins the agency from Grey New York, where he created Canon's HD video contest on Vimeo, The Story Beyond the Still, which won the 2010 Gold Cannes Lion for Branded Content. Previously, King worked in film for six years at Tate USA Films LA and Headquarters Films LA, and at agencies such as BBDO New York, Wieden & Kennedy Portland, Goodby Silverstein & Partners San Francisco and Chiat Day San Francisco. His portfolio includes work for clients such as Levi's, Nike, Starbucks, Fox Sports MLB and the Wall Street Journal.

Micah Walker, executive creative director at Publicis Mojo Sydney, is leaving the agency almost four years after moving there from Fallon London. Walker's recent work includes the Hahn Super Dry spot, with Tom Kuntz. Chief creative officer, Craig Davis, will take on creative leadership responsibilities for the Sydney office.

Deutsch LA has hired Erwin Federizo and Eric Helin as associate creative directors on the Volkswagen account. They will report directly to EVP group creative director Michael Kadin and his new partner, EVP group creative director Matt Ian, who joined the shop in early July. Federizo and Helin come to Deutsch LA from 180LA, where they worked together on accounts including Boost Mobile, Sony and Adidas. The duo created the 'Fast Don't Lie' campaign for Adidas featuring Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose, and comedian Ken Jeong. Previously, both worked at Wongdoody (currently Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener) in Los Angeles before moving to 180LA in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Mathew Ray is moving to Mullen as SVP, director of creative technology. He joins the Boston based agency from Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colorado, where he led creative technology and development efforts on domestic and international brands including Volkswagen, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Dominos, Metlife and Jose Cuervo. Prior to CP+B, Ray served as director of research and development for IQ Interactive in Atlanta.

Greenlight Creative, the California print and graphic design agency, has promoted senior art director Melissa Irwin to partner. Irwin most recently worked on print and viral campaigns for client NBCUniversal to promote the grand reopening of their New York Street on the Universal Backlot, and is currently working on art campaigns for Chicago-based Music Box Films (the distributor of the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo trilogy). Irwin joined the agency in 2000.
