New York based digital media and postproduction company MindSmack has hired Kwesi Collisson as executive producer. Collisson has worked as a producer for feature films, broadcast television and commercial advertising for more than 15 years, with his credits including collaborations with Paramount Pictures, NBC/Universal, MTV Networks, Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Y&R. His work in television includes promoting the launch and redesign of cable and network channels such as the Oxygen Network, Food Network, The History Channel and Court TV, while he has worked on feature films including "Temptation" with Zoe Saldana. With MindSmack, Collisson is currently shooting his 10th feature film project entitled "Kilamanjaro".

CP+B has appointed Charles Erdman as experience director in the agency's Boulder office. Erdman will work on the Applebee's and Microsoft accounts. Erdman joins CP+B from Los Angeles digital agency Blitz, where he was experience lead on projects for Microsoft, Dole and Adobe. Prior to that, he worked with Ogilvy & Mather, Razorfish, The Designory and TBWA/Chiat/Day. Earlier in his career he helped design the Starbright Network, an immersive world for children in juvenile cancer centers across the United States.

VFX specialist Method Studios has expanded its New York presence, appointing Stuart Robinson (pictured) as executive producer. Robinson has worked at VFX houses in the UK and the US. Method, a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, has also promoted and relocated Los Angeles-based Dan Seddon to serve as creative director. Seddon joined Method LA as a VFX supervisor in 2009. Eight VFX artists have also relocated from Method's LA location to the New York shop.

Digital agency MRM has appointed Anthony Yell as executive vice president, executive creative director for MRM East (New York, Princeton & Detroit). Yell, who will be based in New York and report to Michael McLaren, president of MRM East, joins from SapientNitro's LA office where he was most recently VP, executive creative director. Before joining SapientNitro in 1999, he worked for interactive agency Studio Archetype in San Francisco. He has won awards from the Ad Club, IAB MIXX, AIGA, AIA, W3, Creativity, OMMA and Cannes.

New York advertising agency DeVito/Verdi is acquiring full service digital agency SongPlus and its founder, David Song, to build its digital capabilities. Song started his agency five years ago and worked for clients such as Sony Corporate America, Sony Entertainment Network, Sony Pictures Television, Orbitz Travel, Australia Tourism, New Zealand Tourism, Curacao Tourism, Accor Hotels, Cobroxin and others. Prior to SongPlus, Song held interactive positions at such agencies as Arnold Worldwide, JWT, MMB and Hill Holiday.
