R/GA has added two new specialist teams to its offerings: Data Visualization and Live Events. The Data Visualization practice will be led by Andy Clark (left) executive creative director, New York, who has been with R/GA ten years. He will work alongside data scientist, Dr. Tye Rattenbury, who joins from Intel. There, he developed data analysis methods that combine ethnographic techniques with large-scale, quantitative data mining and visualization.

R/GA Live Events will be led by Brian Schultz (left), group account director, New York, who joined the agency in 2010 from Crispin, Porter + Bogusky. There, he helped develop, build and manage OuterActive, its experiential marketing arm. The Live Events team also includes executive producer Gabe Banner, who helped build LIME, the experiential practice within Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners, and creative director Elizabeth Valleau, a former CD for MKTG and art director for Bad Boy Worldwide.

Feature film production company Perfect Weekend is entering the commercial production market. Its first project will be a branded content/advertising campaign for Reebok, directed by Peter Odiorne and created in-house. Perfect Weekend, founded in 2004 by former ICM agents Justin Moore-Lewy (left) and Charlie Mason (right), won several awards for its feature films Natural Selection and 96 minutes at the SXSW 2011 festival.

New York production company Humble has signed Sorrel Ahlfeld as a director. Ahlfeld, who comes across from Anonymous Content, has won numerous awards as a director, including the Young Director Award at the 2005 Cannes International Advertising Festival.
