German directorial duo Alex & Steffen have signed with Saville Productions for exclusive spot representation in North America. The pair, Alexander Kiesl and Steffen Hacker, formed their partnership in 2005 and have filmed over 50 commercials including work for Adidas, Nissan, Honda, Bosch, Alfa Romeo, Coca Cola and Snickers. In 2006, they were selected for the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director's Showcase and in 2011, their "Infinity" spot for Batelco was among the winners of TED's "10 Ads Worth Spreading". Recent projects include a spot for Unilever's Lifebuoy and an Adidas campaign featuring Snoop Dogg for London agency, Creature.

Candi Carter and Rick Segall, both former producers of The Oprah Winfrey Show have joined forces to launch a Chicago-based television production and branded entertainment company, New Chapter Entertainment. NCE's branded entertainment division will be led by director of branded entertainment Jim Olen, a 20-year veteran of Chicago's advertising and post-production agencies, who has previously worked with brands including McDonald's, Coca-Cola, State Farm and Gatorade and more. It will create short-form video content, commercials, and short films for corporate clients.

Red Tettemer + Partners, the Philadelphia-based indie creative agency, has appointed Jeremy Gilberto as art director as one of a number of new hires. Gilberto most recently worked as AD at Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett in Chicago. Reporting to ECD and partner Steve O'Connell, he will work on Dial for Men, Century 21 and Planet Fitness.
